My mission - Political Neutrality
To give POWER back to the PEOPLE and create a “Fair Go” future through a Ground-Up model.
To give POWER back to the PEOPLE and create a “Fair Go” future through a Ground-Up model.
I was born in Sydney and raised in Millmerran—a Chinese-looking Aussie boy in a small country town.
After studying Pharmacology and Physiology from UQ, I pursued a career in the IT industry. My work took me overseas, where I was employed by one of the UK’s largest conveyancing firms. Eventually, I returned to Brisbane to start a family.
Throughout my career, I’ve gained diverse experience across multiple industries, including the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, employment services , and rural motel accomodations.
For Too Long, We’ve Trusted Politicians—It’s Time for Change
For far too long, we’ve entrusted our politicians to make decisions in our best interest. But more often than not, it seems they are making decisions that benefit themselves or their party’s vested interests. If elected, I commit to working on the following priorities to restore trust and integrity in our political system:
1. Restoring Trust in Our Politicians – Drug and Alcohol Testing
It’s unfair that when we’re caught driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we face losing our license, job, and freedom. Yet, we are expected to trust that our politicians are making crucial decisions while maintaining a clear and sober mind. Why should we take this on faith? I propose implementing a two-strike system for politicians. The first strike would be an anonymous warning, while the second strike would result in public naming and criminal penalties. Politicians must be held to the same standards they expect from us.
2. Restoring Integrity in Our Politicians – Political Donation Reform
It’s wrong that external influences, like money, have too much power in shaping laws for commercial and personal gain, often at the public's expense. I will work with the people of Australia to close the loopholes in our political donation and taxation systems, ensuring transparency and fairness. The influence of big money should not override the will of the people.
3. Tackling the "Too Hard" Issues – Harnessing the Power of the People
In the three weeks since I started my campaign, I’ve witnessed firsthand the goodness in the majority of the Australian public. One example was when an Irish father of two, after an accidental forward somersault on a hire e-scooter, received immediate help from strangers. This kind of selflessness and community spirit is an untapped resource that we must harness. I strongly believe that WE, THE PEOPLE, can unite and become the driving force for positive change in our society. My vision is to create a non-commercial forum where citizens can come together to ask questions, debate, problem-solve, and form a consensus on issues like fake news and other "too hard" concerns.
4. True Incorruptibility – Power Back to the People
My ultimate goal is to help establish a secure and safe platform where people can directly vote on critical issues that affect society as a whole. A "Fair Go" future where we can tap into the collective wisdom of up to 3.5 million Queensland voters to achieve fairer social outcomes. While we may not always make the right choice (after all, are politicians perfect?), the decisions will reflect the will of the people, not the will of a few. By following the people’s lead rather than my own, I will remain a truly incorruptible politician.
In Summary: What Do I Stand For?
I stand for YOU, THE PEOPLE of Queensland and for a better future for all Australians. Together, we can create a political system that truly reflects the values, needs, and aspirations of the people—not the elites. The power should rest with the people, and I am committed to making that vision a reality.
For contentious bills, ensure rigorous fact-checking by multiple independent agencies. Summarize key debated points and distribute this information in both concise and detailed formats for public accessibility.
Implement electronic voting with multi-factor authentication, such as MyGov and AEC verification. Offer pre-assigned proxy voting for those unable to participate digitally.
On major social issues (e.g., youth crime, misinformation, AI), facilitate public idea generation and conduct thorough debates on the merits of each proposed solution.
Using the electronic voting system, Queenslanders can directly vote on the best course of action. I would then take these decisions to Parliament to advocate for legislative changes.
